MEMBER BIOGRAPHY

NADEEM ASHRAFI (Singer, Music Arranger, Composer)

Nadeem established the Heartbeats music band in 1979. By profession he is a Computer programmer. Combining his music talent with computer programming skill he has developed an incredible technique to produce a sound of hundred musicians. He has been proudly serving desi music industry for more than 3 decades in different capacity. He started classical music back home as a child artist. He learnt music from his father who was a Sitar player. He has performed with many industry play back singers and artists. Now he has been organizing, singing and performing musical shows all around USA, Canada and other countries and is well known for his Ghazal and versatile singing and music orchestration in many languages.

Geeta Kris (Female Vocalist)

Geeta was born and raised in Bombay. She started learning classical music at the age of 5 in Bombay, India. Since then, music is her GOD, her love, and her passion. She has been trained and been professionally singing in Hindi Gujrati and all south Indian languages songs at very early age.

She has well performed with famous South Indian play back singer Chitra and many other industry play back artists from Bollywood. She has travelled with heartbeats band members Nadeem Ashrafi, Mohsin Jangda and Darshak Thakar and many other singer all over United States. She has been singing and performing in USA since last 15 years.

Mohsin Jangda (Male Vocalist)

He is the voice of Mukesh. You can close your eyes and imagine that Mukesh is there. He is the famous Radio host in Houston for last 15 years. He has been singing in USA since last 12 years. Mohsin Jangda has done many tours with famous bollywod singers, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shrya Ghoshal, Suniti Chauhan and many more famous Bollywood singers.

Shayak Rahman (Male Vocalist)

He is our young artist, has been singing in USA since last 5 years and has proved himself as one of the best all-round flexible singer to sing latest bollywood movie songs. A good voice tribute to Kishore Kumar. He is a child prodigy from Bangladesh.

DARSHAK THACKER (Drummer Octapad player)

Darshak is a young very energetic and versatile drummer and octapad player who is known for his Drum playing with dancing. He plays non stop drums for hours. By profession, he is a famous lawyer from Gujrat who has passion and hobby for music and drum.

ASHOK SHELAT (Male Vocalist)

Ashok was gifted with singing talent in childhood from his parents who were casual entertainers during social gatherings. His school teacher, Mr. Tamboli recognized his talent and provided classical singing training. He encouraged him to participate in school competitions and won several awards year after year. During collage, he received classical training from Mrs. Champaben Tambeker and continued with musical performances. He also won "Parent of the Month" award by showcase singing performances in various schools in USA.

PRAKASH MAJMUDAR (Garba vocalist)

Born and raised in Gujrat India, worked as Bank officer for 15 years, now living in USA for last 27 years. He has been singing in small groups for years. He likes to sing Mukesh and Talat Mehmood. He recently joined the band and has been a good supporting singer in Garba Raas and Dandia shows.
